Finding my Bliss – July’s Action Plan

June 26, 2013 by Vicki

What makes me this happy?

What makes me this happy?

What makes me truly happy? Where is my bliss, as Joseph Campbell would say? Writing, obviously, brings me great happiness (and frustration.) Enjoying nature always delights me as long as I can feel cool. (I hate the heat.) Having a clean and organized home is necessary for my sanity. What, however, makes me truly happy?

The purpose of this month’s Action Plan is to try to figure that out. Where is my bliss? I believe that my happiness points the path to the life I should live. We live in a world surrounded by “should’s”; what we should do, how we should act, and how we should feel. In reality, there is only choice. I choose to live a life where I am happy and can then, and only then, help others be happy as well.
